Friendly staff and reasonable priced food. Chips weren't great but otherwise was all good. :)

Interesting looking building, good for a drink. Menu was traditional pub fare served by attentive staff but the food was poor and the Allergens Info was dire: handwritten and chaotic with a question mark against one product for gluten!! We simply couldn't trust if they knew what was gluten free or not.
This is a nice looking pub on the main street. It's a bit run down inside and beer and wine selection is a bit limited. It lacks a bit of atmosphere but it's comfortable.
It has really improved over the last few years and has a really good food selection. We went on a Friday night when there was a football match on and although there was a crowd there, we were able to sit in the restaurant which was fairly peaceful. Some of the other pubs with TVs were packed!! We had a sharing platter which was really tasty and reasonably priced at under 9/10. We will probably go there again very soon.
