If your going to the outdoor theatre you are in for a real treat, it's stunning and if the weather is nice it's well worth packing a picnic and heading there early. The whole place is stunning. The only let down is the food, I've had dinner here twice in the orangery and both times the food has been tasteless. Which is a real shame
Poor service, poor food, make sure you eat before you go otherwise you will be very unsatisfied with the food. The cups were thick / heavy more like something you would get at a community centre come on if you're going to do afternoon tea then do it properly go to the Ritz and see how it's done.
Wonderful delightful. Staff polite and very friendly. Really luxurious hotel with beautiful art and coloured glass. Highly recommend this hotel
Restaurant serves passably nice food. Pork belly main was very nice but the line creme brulee was like a cold plate that someone has sneezed out. Had to send it back. Overall the venue is lovely and the staff pleasant but no care or service and attention was offered to or party. The Heating and music turned off before we had finished our food, no drinks offered when seated and service slow. You can do much better....
The staff were friendly as we pass them by.I went for afternoon tea & i feel there was not enough staff. We had to wait some time to been seen at the reception, to be shown to out table & to be served.Once seated we were ask if we would we like tea or coffee there was no menu to select from which meant the waiter had to read out what teas/coffee were available.Service i feel was very slow. Only once towards the end did anyone ask if we wanted anymore else.The menu was very good & enjoyed the afternoon tea. There was no atmosphere. Towards the end of our teas the Christmas carols were put on which then added to the atmosphere.The Christmas decorations were lovely. There does not appear to be personal touch.I feel its important to feel special during our time there and I felt invisible.
