Neptunes used to be one of, if not, the best chippy in Lutterworth a couple years back, but recently it's gone downhill really bad. I came in just before one lunchtime and ordered a tray of chips with curry sauce on top, however, I wish I hadn't ordered anything from there at all. My chips were basically anaemic and white as anything, you could tell the guy sorting my order was rushing to get me my food quick rather than getting my food nice and cooked. As for the curry sauce, well there was hardly any and what was there was just dolloped straight on the middle of the chips and not spread evenly. I was really disappointed with that batch of chips and it's about put me off going there again.

Got the order completely wrong but charged me full. I was the only customer too. He just said hey everyone makes mistakes... when i called to complain. Pies are microwaved... basically its garbage. Better Chippy in he town square.

Ashamed to say that this chip shop has gone extremely down hill, having used to be okay. Staff hung down in jewellery, smothered in tattoos and look unclean, selling very undercooked food including undercooked kebab meat; not to mention the staff were unbearably slow, and didnt seem very well trained. They also seemed to be allowing friends of the younger staff to hang around inside the shop last time I went; this wouldnt be a problem if they werent being loud and rude, swearing and putting off their friend who was working.
