AVOID!!!! Very rude customer service by Lee & Andy!!! I have used SEC in the past they have been brill! I saw them in a barber show this year and they had VAT FREE on every items and they said if you spend 5k plus you will get vat free and discount. So after spending 9K I paid a deposit then the rest on delivery. So my Equimpent arrived and they charged me nearly 2k VAT:( and told by Lee and Andy shop else where next time!! I will never be returning to this place. very poorly run company. there are a lot better places to buy salon equipments. AVOID THIS PLACE.
After placing order and paying half of balance upfront for furniture for my salon in April was given date of around 6th June for delivery.To which I organised decorating to have been done .On not hearing anything by that week I contacted the SEC to be told someone in delivery dept would contact me .I had no phone call !Contacted them again myself the week after as I was due to go on holiday .I was then given delivery date 4th July .On receipt of furniture 2 if footstands were faulty , so I contacted them on 5th to make them aware .I also bought a vintage shelving unit and when I went to put it up a piece had fallen of revealing glue ! I had a closer look at unit only to discover that it was glued everywhere . And was done badly and was unsacure.I also mentioned this at time of footrests and was told someone would be in touch .I sent photos on 6th July of the condition af shelving unit as was requested.I had NO call back ,so on 13th I phoned again eventually spoke to a manager who also told me he would be in contact.On 23rd July I still had not received a call so phoned again ... was told someone would be in touch !After nobody contacted me I sent email of complaint on 30th July.Was then contacted and this was the response...The shelving unit was bought as seen and this is first we have heard about footrests ! We will order footrests could be up to 3weeks before they have them in stock then they will send them out ! And I should have checked shelving before I left !So I just want to make anyone buying from SEC to check any antique products as their bought as seen ! And they like to pass the blame on to other staff members or blame holidays for delay in getting back to you when all there doing is taking no blame for their lack of customer service !I have left pictures on Facebook review
