Had a stairs and landing carpet fitted by these guys, I wasn't happy at the time with the quality of fitting but they dismissed me and told me it would settle in (yeah right) 3 years later the stairs carpet is sagging on nearly every step and looks a complete mess, I'm going to have to replace the carpet (which was expensive) but definitely won't be using Powers ever again. If you want your carpet fitting properly don't use these guys.

Good value, great service in the shop. Pity about the sluky mardy fitter. Who had to be replaced. Carpets fitted well after that but the shine was taken off the whole event.

Visited them about a month ago as we are looking for a new floor for our kitchen.The lady there was very helpful at the day and gave us some samples for laminate flooring to see how they look in our space.The next day I returned the samples and had a conversation with someone else about different options like Karndean. He promised to send me some samples at home as they didn't have the ones I was interested in. A month later and still waiting..Regardless, I called them yesterday to ask for a price as we have eventually found what we are looking for. The lady there told me she had to ask the owner and call me back by the end of the day. Needless to say she didn't.I won't bother with them again, this is getting silly. I don't think that a customer needs to beg for a service especially when there are a dozen of other suppliers in the area more eager to take the job.
