We browsed the Garden Barn's interesting and quirky nicnacs and gifts for the home, along with the remaining Christmas decorations, some scarves and greeting cards, after which we had some of their super yummy cakes and tea in a cosy room at the back where the little one was entertained with a few toys and books in the children's corner. Don't forget your coat - the main shop area is still a barn and they like to keep the door open, so rather chilly in January!

A fun place with lots of quirky niknaks to buy. It's not a garden centre, but garden centre shops should aspire to be just like this. Nice cafe too, a nice way to while away a couple of hours.
Love it here because you can always find some unusual presents and the cafe is very good too! Excellent around Christmas!
Just off the M1, this is a great alternative to motorway service stations. There is a quirky selection of goods, although not cheap to buy. The food is delicious and a reasonable price. Plenty of staff to serve but only one till so there can be a queue. There are several seating areas for those having food or drink. Before ordering your food and drink I recommend finding a table first, and some are upstairs and right around the corner... so be bold and keep walking further and further in. Food and drink is brought to the table. The serving staff have confidence and a great attitude.The tables could have been cleaned more thoroughly. As other reviewers have noted there is only one toilet for everyone... for disabled, women and men. There can be a queue. Why just one?
